Marlow, New London, Newbury, Newport, Roxbury, Stoddard, Sullivan, Sunapee, Sutton, Unity, Walpole, Washington and Westmoreland. This district includes the northern half of Cheshire County and the southern half of Sullivan County, as well as a few towns in Merrimack County.

Percentage of district that voted for Bush: 46.9
Percentage of district that voted for Benson: 45.8
Again, the guess here is that if the Democrats make a serious effort to regain a State Senate majority, there is no more promising place to pick up seats than the southwestern corner of the state: namely, the 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th districts.
That said, Odell, like Eaton in the 10th, ran far ahead of the GOP candidates for president and governor.
